Policies
Equipment loans
Laptops and data projectors may be available for presentations within the School for tutors and students.
Students can access email, the internet, saved files and printing allowances from any one of 13 computer labs.
Before using lab computers, you must activate your Faculty account by agreeing to the terms and conditions in the online account activation form. Usually, your computer account will be activated on the following day.
As well as a Faculty account, you need to activate your Pheme account (full service student account) to access web-based resources (such as WebCT) outside UWA.
Helpdesk
The School helpdesk is open weekdays from 8.30 to 5.30pm. You can contact the helpdesk in the following ways:

- visit room 1.21, 1st Floor, Clifton Street Building
Computer labs
Postgraduate computer lab
We have 12 computers for postgraduate students located in 1.29, 1st Floor, Clifton Street Building.
Faculty labs
The Faculty has 13 computer labs where you can use:
- the Microsoft Office productivity suite
- EndNote
- internet facilities if you have a full service student account
- CD/DVD burning software
- Pharmacology applications
All computer labs have identical computers with the same configuration and 17" monitors, Core2 Duo processors, 2GB of memory and fast internet access.
All computer labs also provide laser printing and after hours access. Students will need to bring their student card to the Administration Office to gain after hours access.
