Aspirations
To communicate what we learn in order to:
- impact on health services policy and practice within Western Australia, the rest of Australia and overseas
- foster strategic alliances between various health service professionals and government organisations
- maintain strong advisory links with industry sectors relevant to health services
- ensure our findings are accessible to health care consumers and the general community
The Centre is undertaking a number of major research projects.
The projects tie into our six priority themes:
- Inequalities in health care
- Preventable inpatient time
- Promoting best practice in surgical and procedural care
- Clinical safety and post-implementation surveillance
- Improving medication safety
- Methodological developments in the linkage of the WA Data Linked System to Commonwealth datasets and family linkage
