Staff
The group consists of the following core staff:

- Mr Mark Divitini, Research Associate, UWA
- Mr Kashif Mukhtar, Database Manager, UWA
The Busselton Health Study research group manages and maintains the Busselton Health Study database on behalf of the Busselton Population Medical Research Institute. This database custodian role includes:
- supporting current surveys through selection of people to be invited and obtaining contact information,
- development of tracking databases for each survey,
- receiving and incorporating new data into the central database,
- providing information to researchers on the information available,
- extracting data for approved projects, and
- generally keeping the accumulated information secure and in good order.
The group, independently and in collaboration with other Busselton Health Study researchers, uses the accumulated data to conduct reseach into:
- epidemiology of cardiovascular diseases
- epidemiology of respiratory diseases
- mortality and hospital admission rates
